Description

This is a recessed downlight fitting from the Glozo range, supplied without a bulb. It takes a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which you choose and buy separately to match the output and tone you want. The round housing measures Ø96 mm with a depth of 42 mm and is rated for lamps up to 10W, so it pairs with current low-wattage GU10 LEDs. The fitting itself does not light up; the lamp you fit provides the brightness and beam.

Designed for ceilings throughout the home, it drops into a 68 mm cut-out and sits flush against the ceiling face for a tidy, recessed finish. Several of these in a line or grid suit kitchens, hallways, living rooms and bedrooms, with spacing chosen to match your ceiling height and the beam of the GU10 lamp you fit. The position is fixed, so it directs light straight down rather than tilting toward a wall or feature.

The body is aluminium alloy in a gold finish, giving a warm metallic ring around the recessed opening. It carries an IP20 rating, so it is intended for dry indoor rooms and should be kept clear of bathroom zones and any exposed outdoor positions. Installation is a straightforward push-fit into the prepared 68 mm hole, secured by sprung retaining clips behind the ceiling. Remember that the GU10 lamp is not included and is ordered to suit your preferred brightness.
