Description

This is a fixed recessed downlight from the Glozo range, a compact round housing that sits flush into a ceiling cut-out. It takes a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is not included, so the bulb can be chosen to suit the room. The steel body measures Ø82 mm across the trim and 34 mm deep, giving a neat, low-profile face once installed.

The downlight drops into a 60mm cut-out and is held in place by sprung retaining clips, fixing it securely against the ceiling face. Its position is fixed rather than adjustable, so the light points straight down, making it well suited to even, regular spacing across a kitchen, hallway, landing or living room ceiling. Plan the spacing to the room layout for a balanced, repeated grid of fittings.

Built from steel with a gold finish, the housing is rated IP20 for dry indoor locations and should be kept clear of bathrooms and any area exposed to splashes or moisture. It accepts a GU10 lamp of up to 10W maximum, leaving the choice of brightness, tone and any dimming behaviour to the bulb you fit. Supplied as the fitting only, ready to wire and recess.

No. This is the fitting only and it is supplied without a lamp. It accepts a separate GU10 twist-lock bulb, which you choose and buy to suit the room.

What size cut-out do I need?

The downlight requires a 60mm cut-out in the ceiling. It drops into the hole and is held by sprung retaining clips against the ceiling face, so it sits flush once fitted.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The fitting is rated IP20, which means dry indoor use only. Keep it clear of bathrooms, showers and any location exposed to moisture or splashes.

What is the maximum lamp wattage?

It takes a GU10 bulb of up to 10W maximum. Whether the light can be dimmed depends entirely on the bulb you choose, as the fitting itself does not determine that.
