Description
This recessed downlight, part of the Glozo range, sits flush in a ceiling cut-out for a clean, low-profile finish. It accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is not included, so you can pick the brightness and tone that suit the room. The position is fixed, throwing light straight down rather than tilting, making it a tidy choice for even, repeated runs across a ceiling.
It drops into a 60mm cut-out, with an overall trim diameter of 82mm, so plan the spacing of the holes before you start. Rated IP20, it is for dry indoor rooms only, such as living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, and should be kept clear of bathrooms and any exposed or damp locations. The round trim works well in groups for general ceiling lighting, and a 10W maximum lamp keeps it within a safe load.
The housing is steel with a chrome finish that reflects nicely against pale or modern ceilings. Installation is straightforward: wire the connector to the chosen GU10 lamp, fold the spring clips and push the fitting up into the cut-out, where the clips hold it firm against the ceiling. Whether it dims depends entirely on the lamp you fit, since the housing itself carries no driver and no light source of its own.

Frequently Asked
Is a bulb included?
No, the fitting is supplied without a lamp. It accepts a single GU10 twist-lock bulb, which you choose and buy separately to set the brightness and colour tone you want.
What size hole does it need?
It requires a 60mm cut-out in the ceiling. The visible trim is 82mm in diameter, so the fitting overlaps the hole slightly to give a clean edge.
Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. With an IP20 rating it is for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it out of bathrooms, porches and any damp or exposed areas.
Does the downlight tilt or adjust?
No, it is a fixed-position fitting that directs light straight down. For an angled or directional beam you would need an adjustable spotlight instead.
