Description

This recessed downlight from the Eliceo range is a round ceiling fitting that accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp. The bulb is not included, so you choose the GU10 that suits the room, whether warm or cool in tone. The fitting sits in a fixed position, casting its light straight down from a neat round trim that finishes flush with the ceiling.

It is built for indoor use only, carrying an IP20 rating that keeps it to dry rooms such as living spaces, hallways, bedrooms and kitchens away from splashes. Several of these downlights can be spaced across a ceiling to spread light evenly, with the GU10 lamp you fit deciding how bright and what colour the result is. The compact Ø96mm face keeps the look tidy on both small and larger ceilings.

The body is aluminium alloy in a clean white finish, with an overall depth of 42mm. It recesses into a standard 68mm cut-out and holds firm with spring clips, dropping into place once the ceiling hole is made. The fitting takes a lamp rated up to 10W. Whether the light dims depends on the GU10 bulb you choose, not the housing.
