Description
This recessed downlight, from the Glozo range, is a fixed-position ceiling fitting that takes a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is supplied separately. The round housing drops into a 70mm ceiling cut-out and sits flush against the ceiling face, accepting a GU10 bulb rated up to 10W. The lamp itself sets the brightness and tone, so you choose the output to suit the room when you fit a bulb.
It suits hallways, landings, kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms where a discreet recessed point is wanted in a flat plasterboard or suspended ceiling. With an IP20 rating it is intended for dry interior locations only, so keep it clear of bathroom zones, porches and any exposed outdoor positions. The fixed head aims straight down, giving an even spread for general ceiling lighting across a standard domestic room.
The body is aluminium alloy in a two-tone white and chrome finish, measuring Ø98 x 44 mm overall. Installation is a simple recess into the prepared 70mm hole, with spring clips holding it against the ceiling, and the GU10 lamp twists into the holder behind the trim. The bulb is not included, so a GU10 lamp up to 10W should be specified separately to complete the fitting.

Frequently Asked
Is a bulb included?
No, the downlight is supplied without a lamp. It accepts one GU10 twist-lock bulb rated up to 10W, which should be bought separately so you can choose the brightness and tone you prefer.
What size cut-out does it need?
It fits a 70mm ceiling cut-out and recesses flush into plasterboard or a suspended ceiling. Spring clips hold the fitting securely against the ceiling face once it is pushed into place.
Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
No, it carries an IP20 rating, which means it is for dry indoor use only. Keep it out of bathroom water zones, porches and any position exposed to damp or weather.
Can the head be angled?
No, this is a fixed-position downlight that aims straight down for even general lighting. If you need an adjustable head, choose a tiltable spotlight fitting instead.
