Description

This Govik recessed downlight is a light fitting supplied without a bulb. It accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which you choose and buy separately to suit your preferred brightness and tone. The round housing takes a GU10 rated up to 10W, with the lamp itself providing all of the light, colour and beam spread once fitted.

It suits kitchens, hallways, landings and living spaces where a tidy, flush ceiling line is wanted. The fitting is recessed, dropping into a 67mm cut-out so the trim sits neat against the ceiling face, and the position is fixed rather than adjustable, so it points straight down. With an IP20 rating it is intended for dry indoor rooms and should be kept away from bathroom zones and any exposed outdoor location.

The housing is made from aluminium alloy in a black and gold finish, measuring 80mm across by 60mm deep. The compact body fits a standard ceiling void above the 67mm aperture. Whether the fitting can be dimmed depends entirely on the GU10 lamp you select, as the housing itself carries no driver or control.
