Description
This is the Flini, a square recessed downlight that drops into a 60mm ceiling cut-out and sits flush with the ceiling face. It is a housing only and accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is supplied separately, so you can pick the brightness and tone that suit the room. The position is fixed rather than adjustable, giving a straight downward wash that is well suited to grids of evenly spaced points across a ceiling.
With an IP44 rating it is protected against splashing water, which makes it a sound choice for bathrooms, shower rooms, ensuites and covered porches as well as ordinary living spaces. The compact 80 × 80 × 50 mm body and shallow 50 mm depth help it tuck into ceilings where space above the plasterboard is limited. Plan a 60mm hole for each fitting and confirm there is enough clearance behind the ceiling before cutting.
The body is aluminium alloy in a black finish, a low-profile square trim that suits darker or more contemporary ceilings. It takes a GU10 lamp up to a maximum of 10W per fitting, so choose a bulb rated within that limit. Whether the light can be dimmed depends entirely on the GU10 lamp you fit, not on the housing itself.

Frequently Asked
Is a bulb included?
No, this fitting is supplied without a lamp. It accepts a separate GU10 twist-lock bulb rated up to a maximum of 10W, which you choose and buy separately.
What size cut-out do I need?
Each downlight needs a 60mm hole in the ceiling. Check there is enough depth behind the ceiling to take the 50mm body before you cut.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
Yes. The IP44 rating protects it against splashing water, so it is suitable for bathrooms, shower rooms and covered outdoor areas, provided it is installed in line with the relevant zone requirements.
Can the angle be adjusted?
No, this is a fixed-position downlight that directs light straight down. If you need to angle the beam, an adjustable tilt fitting would be the better option.
