Description
This Liglo recessed downlight is a fixed-position ceiling fitting that takes a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, supplied without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and tone to suit the room. The round trim measures Ø97 mm and sits flush against the ceiling face once installed, holding the GU10 in a fixed downward position for direct task or general light.
The fitting drops into a standard 68mm cut-out, the common diameter for GU10 downlights, which keeps it interchangeable across a ceiling run and tidy to retrofit. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor areas, so it suits living rooms, hallways, bedrooms and landings rather than bathrooms or anywhere exposed to splashes or moisture. Plan the cut-outs in an even grid for consistent coverage across the ceiling.
The body is aluminium alloy in a black finish, which helps dissipate heat from the lamp and gives a low-profile recessed look at just 27 mm deep behind the ceiling. The GU10 holder accepts any standard GU10 lamp up to 10W; whether the fitting dims depends on the bulb you fit. Fixed and non-adjustable, it is a straightforward choice for clean, repeatable downlighting.

Frequently Asked
Is a bulb included?
No, the fitting is supplied without a bulb. It accepts one GU10 twist-lock lamp, rated up to 10W, which you choose and buy separately.
What size cut-out does it need?
It drops into a 68mm cut-out, the standard hole size for GU10 downlights. The Ø97 mm trim then sits flush against the ceiling face, and the recessed depth is just 27 mm.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so it is not suitable for bathrooms or any location exposed to moisture or splashes.
Can the head be angled or tilted?
No, this is a fixed-position downlight, so it directs light straight down. For an adjustable, tiltable beam you would need an adjustable spotlight version instead.
