Description

This recessed downlight is a clean round fitting that drops into a 61mm ceiling cut-out and sits flush against the ceiling face. It takes a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is not included, so you can pick the brightness and tone that suit the room. The position is fixed rather than tiltable, giving a straight downward wash that works well in an even ceiling layout.

Part of the Glozo range, it suits hallways, kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms where a discreet recessed point of light is wanted. The compact Ø68 by 50 mm body keeps the visible bezel small while leaving enough depth for the lamp behind the ceiling. With an IP20 rating it is intended for dry indoor locations only, so keep it clear of bathrooms and any exposed outdoor positions. It accepts GU10 lamps up to 10W maximum.

The fitting is made from aluminium alloy in a two-tone white and gold finish, pairing a white outer bezel with a gold inner ring for a neat contrast against a plain ceiling. The lamp twists in and locks behind the bezel, with a fixed aim once seated. Supplied without a bulb, it lets you match the GU10 lamp to your existing fittings.

No, the downlight is supplied without a lamp. It accepts a single GU10 twist-lock bulb, which you choose and buy separately.

What size cut-out does it need?

It drops into a 61mm ceiling cut-out. Cut the hole to that diameter so the spring clips grip the ceiling and the bezel sits flush.

Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. With an IP20 rating it is for dry indoor use only, so keep it out of bathroom zones and any exposed outdoor position.

Can the angle be adjusted?

No, this is a fixed-position downlight that aims straight down. For a directional or tiltable beam you would need an adjustable spotlight fitting instead.
