Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker marked 'WASTE DISPOSAL' in a smoked bronze finish, designed to fit Knightsbridge modular grid switch systems. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the mounting plate, constructed from ABS plastic with steel internal components.

The rocker clips onto existing Knightsbridge grid switch mechanisms, allowing appliance circuits to be clearly labelled at the point of use. Common in domestic kitchens and utility rooms where waste disposal units, dishwashers, washing machines and other fixed appliances share a bank of switches, the marked cover eliminates confusion over which switch controls which appliance. The smoked bronze finish coordinates with Knightsbridge's metal-effect grid plate ranges.

The IP20 rating confirms the cover is suitable for indoor dry locations. No. This cover is designed specifically for Knightsbridge modular grid switch mechanisms. It will not fit other manufacturers' grid systems or standard UK rocker switches. Check your existing switch plate is a Knightsbridge grid system before ordering.

Can the rocker be removed and replaced without rewiring?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the switch mechanism without tools. The switch mechanism remains fixed in the back box, and only the visible rocker cover is replaced. No electrical work is required to swap covers.
