Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker engraved with the text 'WARMING DRAWER' in a brushed brass finish. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide and fits directly onto Knightsbridge grid switch modules, allowing existing unmarked rockers to be swapped out for labelled versions without rewiring the module itself.

Designed for kitchen installations where multiple appliances are controlled from a single bank of grid switches, the labelled rocker removes guesswork when isolating specific appliances. The cover simply clips onto the metal switch mechanism behind it, replacing the blank rocker that came with the module. This is particularly useful in new-build kitchens, refurbishments, and commercial installations where multiple staff or occupants need to identify which switch controls the warming drawer without trial and error.

The brushed brass finish has a directional grain that softens reflections and pairs with other brushed brass grid plates, sockets and accessories in the Knightsbridge range. The rocker body is moulded from ABS plastic with a steel insert for rigidity, and the engraved text is recessed into the surface so it remains legible over years of use. The 6.8mm projection from the grid plate gives a low-profile appearance once fitted.

Yes. This rocker cover fits standard Knightsbridge grid switch modules. It clips directly onto the metal switch mechanism, replacing the existing rocker without needing to remove the module from the wall or rewire.

Can I swap rockers on an already-installed switch?

Yes. The rocker cover can be removed and replaced on a live installation. Turn off the circuit at the consumer unit first for safety, then gently lever the existing rocker off the module and clip the new labelled rocker into place.
