Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker marked 'FRIDGE' in smoked bronze finish, designed to clip onto Knightsbridge grid switch modules for clear appliance identification. The cover is 33mm high by 16mm wide and projects 6.8mm from the grid plate once fitted, replacing the standard unmarked rocker supplied with grid switches.

Designed for kitchens and utility rooms where multiple appliances are wired to dedicated switches on a grid plate, the pre-printed label removes ambiguity when operating switches grouped together. The rocker clips onto the metal actuator of a Knightsbridge grid switch module without requiring re-wiring or removal of the grid plate from the wall. The smoked bronze finish coordinates with Knightsbridge's smoked bronze grid plate range and gives a darker, warmer tone than polished or brushed chrome.

The cover is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel internal clip, rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use. The smoked bronze coating provides a semi-translucent bronze tint over the black base material, giving a subtle metallic appearance without the high reflectivity of polished metal. Knightsbridge backs the component with a 25-year warranty, which is uncommon for switch accessories and reflects the material durability expected in commercial and domestic use.

Yes. The cover is designed to fit Knightsbridge grid switch modules across their range. It clips onto the metal actuator of the switch module, replacing the standard unmarked rocker supplied with the switch.

Can the cover be fitted without removing the grid plate from the wall?

Yes. The rocker cover clips on and off the switch actuator without requiring the grid plate to be unscrewed or the wiring to be disturbed. Simply pull the existing rocker off and clip the new marked cover into place.
