Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker engraved 'FRIDGE FREEZER' in raised lettering, finished in brushed brass. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the switch plate when fitted, and is designed to clip onto Knightsbridge modular grid switch mechanisms.

The cover suits kitchen installations where dedicated appliance circuits need clear labelling at the switch plate — typically above worktops where a fridge, freezer or combined appliance is controlled by a grid switch. The rocker can be swapped onto an existing Knightsbridge grid mechanism without rewiring, allowing appliance circuits to be labelled retrospectively or relabelled when kitchen layouts change.

The brushed brass finish provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with brass grid plates, brass sockets and brass kitchen hardware. The ABS and steel construction gives the cover durability under repeated switching, and the engraved lettering remains legible under kitchen lighting without needing printed labels that can fade or peel.

The cover fits Knightsbridge modular grid switch mechanisms. It will not fit standard rocker switches or other brands' grid systems — check that your existing installation uses Knightsbridge grid components before ordering.

Can it be fitted to an existing switch without rewiring?

Yes. The rocker cover clips onto the existing Knightsbridge grid mechanism. You remove the existing blank or labelled rocker and clip this replacement into place — no rewiring or re-mounting of the switch plate is needed.
