Description

The Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a pre-printed anthracite rocker cover marked 'FREEZER' in light grey text, designed to clip onto standard grid rocker switches as a replacement for blank covers. The cover allows appliances to be identified at the switch without separate labelling, making it useful in utility rooms, kitchens and commercial catering areas where multiple appliances share a dedicated switched circuit.

Designed for use with Knightsbridge's modular grid switch system, the cover removes and replaces the existing rocker on a grid switch module without needing to re-wire or disturb the back box. The marking sits clearly visible when the switch is in both on and off positions, allowing users to identify which circuit controls the freezer at a glance.

The cover is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel internal frame, finished in anthracite grey. At 33mm height and 16mm width, it fits standard single-module grid switches and sits 6.8mm proud of the faceplate when clipped into position. The IP20 rating confirms suitability for dry indoor use only.

The cover is designed specifically for Knightsbridge's modular grid switch system. It clips onto standard single-module grid rocker switches from the same range. Compatibility with other brands' grid systems is not guaranteed.

Can the cover be removed and reused?

Yes. The cover clips onto the rocker mechanism and can be removed by gently prising it away from the switch module. It can then be re-clipped onto another grid switch if needed, allowing covers to be swapped between circuits when appliances are relocated.
