Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker marked 'FAN' in smoked bronze finish, designed to clip onto modular grid switch mechanisms for appliance identification. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide and is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel clip mechanism, carrying a smoked bronze finish that matches Knightsbridge's smoked bronze grid plate range.

Designed for use in kitchens, utility rooms and bathrooms where multiple appliances share a grid plate, the pre-printed 'FAN' marking allows extractor fans to be clearly identified on multi-gang installations. The rocker clips onto the switch mechanism without tools — the existing rocker is pulled off and the new marked cover clips into place, requiring no re-wiring or removal of the grid plate from the wall.

The smoked bronze finish provides a dark metallic tone that sits between brushed brass and antique brass, offering a warmer alternative to black or chrome in period and traditional interiors. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas — this cover is not suitable for shower zones or outdoor installations. Knightsbridge backs the cover with a 25-year warranty.

This rocker cover fits Knightsbridge's modular grid switch mechanisms in the same finish range. It clips onto 10AX, 16AX and 20AX grid switch modules. Check that your existing grid plate and mechanisms are from the Knightsbridge grid range before ordering.

Can the cover be removed and replaced again?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the switch mechanism with a steel clip and can be removed and replaced multiple times without damage, making it easy to swap covers if appliance assignments change.
