Description

The Knightsbridge 'Fan Boost' grid switch cover is a brushed chrome rocker plate engraved with 'FAN BOOST' text for labelling extractor fan boost speed controls in bathroom and kitchen installations. The cover clips onto Knightsbridge modular grid rocker switches, replacing the blank rocker supplied with the grid module.

Designed for use with Knightsbridge's modular grid wiring system, the cover allows electricians and installers to label individual switches within a multi-gang grid faceplate. This is particularly useful in bathrooms where a single grid plate may control a light, a standard extractor fan speed, and a separate boost speed function. The engraved text remains legible under both daylight and artificial light, avoiding the fading or peeling issues of adhesive labels.

Yes. The cover fits all Knightsbridge modular grid rocker switches, which use a standardised 33mm x 16mm rocker footprint. It clips directly onto the rocker mechanism, replacing the blank cover supplied with the grid module.

Can the cover be removed and replaced?

Yes. The cover clips on and off the underlying rocker mechanism without tools, allowing it to be swapped for a different designation or replaced with a blank rocker if the labelling requirement changes.
