Grid Gold Window Print Full Length Mirror 158cm

Grid Gold is a full length mirror 100cm wide and 158cm tall with a gold grid printed onto the glass. The print is not one repeated pattern: wide squares fill the upper part and the lower part breaks into finer stripes, so it reads as two window patterns stacked rather than a single grid run top to bottom.

A printed grid does something a real window frame cannot, which is divide the reflection without dividing the glass. You get the geometry of a window and an unbroken mirror behind it, so the room still reflects whole. At a metre wide and over a metre and a half tall it is a full length piece and it works best where it can be seen straight on, at the end of a room or facing a door. It is rated bathroom proof. There is no frame. At 15kg and 2cm deep it is a two person hang because of the length rather than the weight, with two screws, washers and plugs supplied.

The gold is printed into the glass rather than applied on top, so nothing on the surface can lift or wear through, and the panel cleans as a single sheet. Use cleaner sprayed onto a cloth. Because part of the glass carries print, the mirror returns a little less light than a plain one the same size, which is the trade for the pattern. A black version of the same design is made at 158cm if the room wants the grid without the warmth.
