Description

This is a replacement prismatic glass for our Grand Cabin Bulkhead light. It is round and gently domed. Its face carries fine ribs that radiate from the centre out towards the edge, finished with a smooth rim all the way round. The glass is sold on its own, without the light.

It is made for one light: the Grand Cabin Bulkhead. If the glass on yours has cracked, chipped or broken, this replacement glass lets you put the bulkhead back into service without replacing the whole fitting. The light keeps the look you chose in the first place. A spare glass kept in the drawer also means a breakage need not leave the light out of action for long.

Prismatic glass works through its ribs, which break up the light from the lamp. This spreads the light more evenly and softens the glare of a bare bulb. Before you order, check that your light is a Grand Cabin Bulkhead, because this glass is shaped for that light alone.
