Description

The Gosmelle is a slim LED downlight with a square satin nickel trim framing a round white diffuser. Both the body and the diffuser are plastic, and the satin nickel finish carries a fine brushed texture that gives the square edge a soft metallic sheen. It measures 21.6cm long and 21.6cm wide and calls for a ceiling cut-out of 20.5cm and a recess depth of 4cm, so it needs only a shallow space above the ceiling. The light comes from integrated LEDs, drawing 18.5W and giving 2,100lm, with an energy class of E. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.

Because of its IP20 rating, this downlight is one for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, landings and home offices, wherever the air stays dry. What a buyer gains most is choice of colour, since it offers three colour temperatures, 2700K, 4000K and 6500K, chosen at the light itself.
