The Golanne is a three-light linear pendant light with a black steel bar and black cables. Each cable holds a tapered shade in natural brown fabric, finished with a ring of woven wood at its lower edge. It measures 89cm long, 19cm wide and 110cm high overall, so it covers a good stretch of ceiling without crowding the room. Each shade takes an E27 bulb of up to 40W. The bulbs are not included, which leaves the choice of warmth and brightness entirely yours. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room.

We see it working best above a long surface where three points of light make more sense than one: a pair of coffee tables in a living room, a dining table or a kitchen island.
