Description

The Glorina Small is a 340mm stacked alabaster wall light built from two rectangular blocks of natural Spanish alabaster, offset vertically and held by a slim matt black bracket. An integrated 10W LED runs at 3000K behind the stone, lighting the alabaster from within so the blocks themselves act as the diffuser rather than a separate shade. The body measures 180mm wide and projects 150mm from the wall.

Suited to hallways, stairwells, bedside walls and lounge alcoves, the light works as ambient and accent illumination rather than task lighting. The compact footprint keeps it within typical hallway widths, and the 150mm projection sits comfortably alongside picture frames and panelling without dominating the wall. Pairs run vertically up a stairwell or as mirrored sconces flanking a bed, console or fireplace.

Each alabaster block is cut from natural stone, so veining patterns, translucency and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. When lit, the stacked geometry casts a soft horizontal shadow line where the two blocks meet, breaking the glow into two distinct planes. The matt black bracket sits behind and between the blocks, kept narrow so the stone reads as the dominant material. Wired for 230V mains.

No. The blocks are cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, mineral patterning and translucency vary between individual lights. This is a feature of the natural stone and means no two Glorina wall lights look identical when illuminated.

What kind of light does it give off?

The integrated 10W LED runs at 3000K (warm white) and lights the alabaster from inside, so the stone itself acts as the diffuser. The output is soft and ambient rather than directional, suiting hallways, stairwells, bedside walls and lounges rather than task areas.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated rather than user-replaceable. The light carries a 2-year warranty covering the LED module and electrical components.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe the blocks gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone with water — a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable for stubborn marks.
