Description

The Glorina is a 520mm wall light built from three rectangular blocks of natural Spanish alabaster, stacked vertically and offset on a slim matt black copper bracket. Each block is hand-carved from a separate section of stone, so the veining, mineral inclusions and translucency vary across the three tiers. An integrated 15W LED inside the assembly casts 3000K warm light through the alabaster, with the stone itself acting as the diffuser.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, living rooms and bedrooms where a vertical wall accent is wanted, the Glorina suits both single-fitting installations and symmetrical pairs flanking a fireplace, bed or doorway. The 150mm projection from the wall gives the stacked blocks dimensional shadow without intruding into circulation space, making it workable in narrower hallways. The fitting is hardwired on 230V mains and mounts via the concealed copper bracket on the rear.

The three alabaster blocks are deliberately offset rather than aligned, creating a staggered silhouette where each tier catches light differently. The matt black finish on the copper support recedes visually behind the stone, so the alabaster reads as the dominant element from typical viewing distance. At 180mm wide and 520mm tall, the proportions sit comfortably between a compact picture light and a full-height architectural wall sconce.

Does each alabaster block look the same?

No. Each of the three blocks is cut from a separate section of natural Spanish alabaster, so veining patterns, mineral inclusions and tonal variation differ between tiers and between individual fittings. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.

Can the Glorina be installed in a bathroom?

The fitting does not have a published IP rating, so it should be installed in dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones or external use.

Is the LED replaceable?

The 15W 3000K LED is integrated into the fitting rather than supplied as a replaceable bulb. Integrated LED modules typically last 25,000-50,000 hours of use before any noticeable drop in output.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid household sprays, polishes and damp cloths, as moisture and chemicals can mark the surface of the stone.
