Description

The Glistis is a 60cm dual-ring LED pendant light with two interlocking circular frames in powder-coated matt black metal, each fitted with an integrated LED strip behind an opal rubber diffuser. The larger outer ring measures 60cm in diameter, with the smaller inner ring offset and angled to create a sculptural layered effect when viewed from below. The combined 48W LED output at 3000K provides warm white light distributed across both rings.

Designed for spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Glistis suits dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas where ambient and decorative lighting combine. The 850mm PVC cable is height-adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be positioned 700-800mm above a dining surface or lower in double-height entrance halls. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only, not bathrooms, outdoor covered areas or utility spaces with moisture.

The opal diffuser softens the LED line into a continuous glow rather than individual points of light, reducing glare when the fitting is viewed from seated or standing positions. The matt black finish on the metal frames absorbs reflections and pairs with monochrome, industrial and contemporary interiors. The rings themselves are approximately 150mm deep, giving the fitting a three-dimensional presence against the ceiling plane. At 48W the light output is sufficient for general illumination in rooms up to 15-18m², though the fitting works best as feature lighting paired with recessed downlights or wall lights for task coverage.

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. The fixture operates at a fixed 48W output on standard 230V mains.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 850mm cable drop works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. For dining tables or kitchen islands, position the pendant 700-800mm above the surface. The cable can be shortened during installation if needed.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable only for dry indoor locations. Bathrooms, covered outdoor areas and utility spaces with moisture require a minimum IP44 rating.

What size room does it suit?

At 48W the Glistis provides ambient light for rooms up to 15-18m². It works best as feature lighting over a defined area, dining table, island, seating zone, rather than sole illumination for a full open-plan space.
