Description

The Glistis is an 80cm diameter LED spiral pendant light built from two interlocking rings with an integrated 55W 3000K LED strip running through both hoops. The white powder-coated metal frame holds an opal rubber diffuser that wraps around the full circumference of each ring, diffusing the LED output into soft, even ambient light without visible hotspots.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Glistis provides broad ambient illumination across a 3-4m area beneath the fitting. The dimmable LED allows brightness to be adjusted via a compatible wall dimmer or smart control, stepping from full 55W output down to a low background glow for evening use. The 2000mm PVC cable is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be set 600-900mm above a worktop or table surface depending on ceiling height and intended use.

The white powder-coated finish on the metal frame gives a clean, neutral base that pairs with contemporary, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors. The spiral configuration of the two rings creates visual interest from multiple angles while maintaining a flat overall profile, the fitting projects 240mm from the ceiling rose, making it suitable for rooms where a deep drop pendant would feel too imposing. Is the Glistis dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 55W LED is dimmable and works with most mains-voltage trailing-edge LED dimmers. Check dimmer compatibility with your specific dimmer model before installation, as some older models designed for halogen may not dim LEDs smoothly.

What size room does this suit?

The 80cm diameter and 55W output suit dining tables, kitchen islands and living spaces covering 12-18 square metres. In open-plan layouts the Glistis works as zone lighting above a specific area rather than whole-room illumination.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 2000mm cable is adjustable during installation, allowing the fitting to be set at the correct height above a table or worktop. Once installed the cable is fixed unless re-wired.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

The 240mm projection from the ceiling rose makes the Glistis workable in rooms with 2.4m ceiling heights, as long as the cable is shortened to bring the fitting up close to the ceiling. In very low-ceiling rooms under 2.3m, a flush or semi-flush fitting may be more appropriate.
