Description

The Glistis is a 60cm dual-ring LED pendant light comprising two brass-finished metal hoops wound in a spiral configuration, each containing an integrated LED strip behind an opal rubber diffuser. The combined 48W LED output delivers 3000K warm white light through the translucent diffuser, creating a soft glow around the entire frame rather than direct downlight.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Glistis functions as both ambient and sculptural lighting. The 850mm cable length is adjustable during installation, allowing the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining surface or hung lower in double-height spaces. The two rings sit at different heights on the spiral, creating visual depth when viewed from the side.

The brass plating on the metal frame presents as a mid-tone warm gold that pairs with both traditional brass hardware and contemporary brushed brass finishes. The opal rubber diffuser runs continuously around the inside edge of each ring, concealing the LED strip itself while allowing the light to radiate outward in all directions. The 60cm outer diameter suits dining tables of 120-180cm length and kitchen islands of similar proportions without overwhelming smaller spaces.

Is the Glistis dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver is rated for constant 48W output on 230V mains and does not support dimming. If dimming is required, a compatible external driver would need to be fitted by an electrician during installation.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 850mm cable is adjustable during installation. For positioning above a dining table at the typical 700-800mm clearance, a ceiling height of 2.6m or above is recommended. Lower ceilings can accommodate the Glistis if the cable is shortened.

How is the spiral structure mounted?

The two rings are pre-assembled and hang from a single ceiling rose via the adjustable cable. The spiral form is fixed at manufacture and does not require assembly or adjustment after unpacking.

What size table does it suit?

The 60cm outer diameter pairs with dining tables of 120-180cm length and kitchen islands of similar proportions. Smaller tables may be overwhelmed by the fitting; larger tables of 200cm+ may benefit from two Glistis fittings spaced along the length.
