Description

The Glistis is a 60cm diameter LED pendant light built from two interlocking white powder-coated metal rings suspended on adjustable PVC cables. Each ring houses an integrated LED strip behind an opal rubber diffuser that distributes 3000K warm white light evenly across the circular form. The combined 48W LED output is dimmable via compatible wall controls, allowing the light level to be adjusted from full task brightness down to low ambient glow.

Designed for installation above dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Glistis provides both general illumination and a focal point. The 2m cable length allows the pendant to be positioned 600-900mm above a table surface or worktop depending on ceiling height, with the cable length adjusted during installation by feeding excess cable into the ceiling canopy. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations.

The white powder-coated finish on the metal rings provides a clean, neutral surface that pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes without competing for visual attention. The opal rubber diffuser conceals the LED strip itself and prevents direct glare from any viewing angle below the pendant. At 600mm diameter and 150mm height the fitting suits rooms of 12-20m² without overwhelming smaller spaces or appearing undersized in larger ones. The integrated LED carries a 5-year warranty and is not user-replaceable.

The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux and is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to around 10 years of typical residential use at 8 hours per day.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2m cable length is adjustable during installation. For a dining table or kitchen island the pendant typically hangs 700-850mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The cable can be shortened by feeding excess into the ceiling canopy.

What is the IP20 rating?

IP20 means the fitting has no moisture protection and is suitable only for dry indoor locations. It cannot be used in bathrooms, outdoor covered areas, or anywhere subject to condensation or splashing.
