Description

The Glistenis is a 106mm square trim frame in white, designed to fit around recessed downlight housings to create a clean architectural finish between the ceiling surface and the light aperture. The frame measures 106mm × 106mm and mounts flush to the ceiling, covering the cut-out edge and concealing minor imperfections in the plasterwork around the downlight hole.

Used in commercial installations, offices, retail spaces and residential rooms where recessed downlights are fitted into plasterboard or suspended ceilings, the frame provides a defined border that separates the light fitting from the ceiling plane. The 106mm dimension suits larger downlight housings where the aperture is typically 90-100mm in diameter, giving approximately 3-8mm of overlap on all sides to hide the ceiling cut-out edge.

The white finish matches standard ceiling paint colours (brilliant white, soft sheen white) and can be over-painted after installation if needed to match exact ceiling tones. The frame is constructed from rigid polymer with a matte surface that resists yellowing under heat from halogen or high-output LED downlights. The square geometry suits contemporary interiors and grid ceiling layouts where multiple downlights are spaced at regular intervals.
