The Glistenis is a 106mm square trim frame in black, designed to fit around recessed downlights and provide a clean architectural edge at ceiling level. The frame sits flush with the plasterwork and masks the rough-cut aperture around the downlight, giving a finished appearance to the installation.

Used in residential and commercial spaces where recessed downlights need a defined border, the black finish suits modern, industrial and monochrome interiors. The square aperture directs light downward and reduces peripheral glare, which is useful in kitchens, offices, galleries and retail spaces where controlled beam spread matters. The frame fits standard 106mm downlight cut-outs and is compatible with a range of Ideal Lux and third-party recessed fittings.

The black powder-coated finish provides a matt surface that absorbs rather than reflects ceiling light, keeping visual focus on the downlight itself. At 106mm square, the frame suits medium to large recessed fittings and works in ceiling heights of 2.4m or above where the proportions remain balanced. Installation involves clipping the frame onto the downlight housing before or after the fitting is recessed into the ceiling void.
