Description

The Glistenis is a 78mm square trim frame in white, designed to finish the perimeter of a recessed downlight and reduce glare from the exposed lamp. The frame sits flush with the ceiling surface once the downlight is fitted, providing a clean geometric border around the light source. It fits standard 78mm ceiling cutouts used across a wide range of recessed LED and halogen downlight models.

The trim frame is used in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and commercial spaces where the aim is to soften the visual transition between the ceiling and the recessed fitting. By recessing the lamp slightly behind the frame edge, direct glare is reduced for anyone viewing the fitting at an angle. The white finish blends with standard white and off-white ceilings, making the fitting less visually prominent than bare metal or chrome bezels.

The frame is manufactured from thermoplastic material with a matt white finish that resists minor impact and typical kitchen or bathroom humidity. At 78mm square it pairs with both circular and square recessed downlights of equivalent cutout diameter. The 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux covers manufacturing defects in the frame material and finish.
