The Glimpse is a 94 x 69cm rectangle wall mirror set in a reclaimed oak frame showing natural grain, knots and visible wood character. The frame measures 3.5cm in profile and uses oak planks jointed at mitred corners, giving each mirror a different pattern of grain lines and tonal variation depending on the timber section used.

Designed for living room walls, bedroom dressing areas and hallways where a larger mirror adds both function and visual mass, the Glimpse can be hung portrait or landscape. The 94cm height makes it suitable as a full-length check mirror when leaned against a wall or hung low enough to catch reflection from waist to head. The reclaimed oak finish pairs well with neutral-toned interiors, exposed brick, painted wood panelling and contemporary spaces that mix natural materials with clean-lined furniture.

The oak frame weighs between 7-20kg depending on the specific timber sections used and the density of the reclaimed wood, so wall fixings must be rated to carry the full weight. The mirror glass sits behind the frame with a backing board that prevents flexing when hung. The natural oak is unsealed, showing the raw timber surface with its characteristic knots, nail holes from previous use, and grain variation that gives each piece a different appearance when placed side by side.

Yes. The rectangular format works in either orientation. Most users hang it portrait for full-length use in bedrooms or hallways, but it can be mounted landscape over a console table or sofa where a wider reflection is needed.

The oak is supplied unsealed. It can be treated with furniture oil, beeswax or clear varnish if preferred, but this will darken the timber and alter its appearance. Test any finish on an inconspicuous area first.
