Description

This table lamp takes the form of a single flower on a slender stem, its champagne glass bloom hanging from a gold arch above two gold leaves. The flower is shaped like a nodding bell, with pointed petals that curl outwards at the tips and a small gold crown of sepals where it meets the stem. Inside the glass sits a fine twist of tiny LED lights, so the whole bloom lights up from within. Finished in gold and white, it stands 29cm tall, 18cm wide and 11cm deep on a round gold base, so it fits where a bigger lamp would not.

We think it suits a bedside table best, where its height puts the flower at a comfortable level beside a book, but it is just as much at home on a dressing table, a shelf or a hallway console. As it runs on batteries, there is no flex to trail across the furniture and no socket to hunt for, so you can set it wherever it looks right. It is a light for dry rooms indoors, such as a bedroom, living room or study. The flower shape brings a gentle, romantic touch to a room, and it makes a pretty present too.

The lamp takes three AAA batteries (MN2400), which are not included.
