Description

The Gladis pendant is a metal fitting in a matt black finish, paired with blown glass shades in a blurred smoke grey that fades to clear. At 125cm wide it spans a generous stretch above a table or across a room, while the drop adjusts from 50cm to 220cm so you can set it to suit your ceiling height. The fitting can be installed in either a horizontal or vertical position, giving you some freedom in how it sits within the space. It weighs 3.2kg.

Light comes from an integrated 24W LED, so there is no bulb to buy or replace. It gives out around 4000 lumens at a warm 3000K, enough to light a dining room or living area and settle it into a comfortable glow. The opal inner cylinder softens the output and spreads it evenly, while the smoke glass shades diffuse the light and cut down on harshness. This is a fixed integrated LED and is not dimmable.

The matt black metalwork and the graded smoke to clear glass make for a calm, restrained look that works in a bedroom, dining room, hallway or living room. It is rated IP20, which means it is intended for dry indoor use only and should not be fitted in bathrooms or outdoors. The pendant is Class 1, so it requires an earth connection, and it runs on standard UK 220-240V mains. We would suggest installation by a qualified electrician.
