Georgina 3 Light Crystal Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome

The Georgina is a 250mm flush ceiling light built around three G9 bulbs (sold separately) surrounded by layers of Asfour cut crystal on a polished chrome frame. The outer ring of square-cut crystals forms the perimeter, with strands of rectangular and round crystals descending from the rim to create a domed lattice below. Each crystal is linked with small connectors, forming a continuous refractive surface that scatters light across the ceiling and into the room.

Designed for rooms with low ceilings or spaces where a pendant would sit too low, the Georgina projects 220mm from the ceiling once fitted, making it suitable for 2.4m ceiling heights in hallways, bedrooms, cloakrooms and compact living areas. The flush mount fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose, with the chrome backplate concealing the wiring connection. The three-bulb configuration provides functional light output for rooms up to approximately 10-12 square metres when paired with LED G9 bulbs.

The polished chrome frame reflects both ambient daylight and artificial light from the bulbs, amplifying the refractive effect of the crystal layers. The Asfour crystals are precision-cut to optical standards, producing consistent prismatic dispersion across the dome. The 1.5kg weight requires secure fixing into a ceiling joist or the use of appropriate plasterboard anchors rated to the load. The fitting accepts dimmable G9 bulbs up to 33W each, allowing light levels to be controlled via a compatible wall dimmer.

What bulbs does it need?

The Georgina takes three G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 33W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with LED G9 bulbs in the 3-5W range and 2700K-3000K warm white for residential use.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 220mm projection from ceiling to bottom of the fitting makes it appropriate for standard 2.4m ceiling heights. Flush ceiling lights like the Georgina are specifically designed for rooms where pendant lights would hang too low.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and pair the light with a compatible wall dimmer. Not all LED G9 bulbs are dimmable, so check the bulb specification before purchasing.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulbs to cool. Use a dry microfibre cloth to wipe each crystal element. For more persistent marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the fittings or using spray cleaners near the electrical components.
