Description

The Georgiana is a single wall light with a twisted, spiral-patterned clear glass shade set on a plated metal arm. The patterned glass gives the light a decorative edge and disperses it softly across the wall. It measures 230mm high, 120mm wide and projects 160mm from the wall, and weighs 0.5kg. A single E14 bulb up to 7W sits inside, the light is dimmable, and it works with E14 LED bulbs.

Wall lights like this suit living rooms, landings and bedrooms, where they add light at eye level without taking up floor or table space. Fit a pair either side of a bed or a fireplace for symmetry, or use one to light a hallway. Because it is dimmable, you can set it bright for everyday use or lower for a softer background glow, so it adapts to the time of day and the mood of the room.

The arm is plated metal in either antique brass or bright nickel, paired with the same clear spiral glass shade. As a Class 1 earthed fitting it must be connected to the mains earth, and its IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms. Matching pieces are available in the range if you want to co-ordinate wall and ceiling lights. To care for it, wipe the glass and metal with a soft dry cloth, and pair it with a dimmable LED bulb and dimmer switch to make the most of the adjustable light.
