The Genovese is a rectangular LED outdoor wall light with an aluminium body in a textured black finish, its stepped vertical slats framing a clear plastic shade. It stands 24cm tall and 13.8cm wide, and sits 10cm proud of the wall, so it fits neatly beside a front door without crowding the frame. The LED is integrated, giving 1,050lm with an energy class of F, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. Its IP65 rating settles the question of weather: it is protected against dust and jets of water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall through every season.

A built-in microwave sensor picks up movement across a 120° angle and as far as 7m away, lighting the way as someone approaches. That makes it a natural choice for a front door, a set of entrance steps, a side passage or a garage wall, wherever you want light the moment you arrive without reaching for a switch. Fitted as a pair either side of a doorway, the slatted frames look crisp and architectural against pale render or timber cladding, by day as much as by night. The colour temperature is chosen at the light itself, with three settings: 3000K for a warm white, 4500K for a neutral white and 6000K for a cool white.
