Description

The Gemini is a round LED ceiling light that sits flush against the ceiling as a soft, rounded brushed brass disc. Its light comes from an integrated LED behind an opal polycarbonate diffuser, so it reads as an even, glare-free wash rather than a hard beam, with a wide 130 degree spread. Unlit, it holds a clean rounded form close to the ceiling, which keeps it out of the way in a low room or a hallway.

This mid-sized fitting measures 610mm across and stands just 65mm deep, giving 3550 lumens of neutral 4000K light from a 30W integrated LED with a high CRI over 90, so skin tones and finishes read true. The shallow depth suits it to a kitchen, dining room, living room or larger hallway, where a hanging fitting would sit too low.

The body is powder-coated metal in brushed brass with an opal polycarbonate diffuser, rated IP20 for indoor rooms. The LED is built in and rated for around 50,000 hours, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. This is the on/off version, supplied ready to wire in; there is also a DALI or push-dimmable model if you need to lower the light.

Does it need bulbs?

No. The Gemini uses an integrated 30W LED giving 3550 lumens, so the light source is built in and included. There are no separate bulbs to buy, and the LED is rated for around 50,000 hours.

Can it be dimmed?

This is the on/off version and is not dimmable as supplied. The Gemini also comes in a DALI or push-dimmable model, so if you need to lower the light we can advise on that version instead.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The disc is 610mm across and only 65mm deep, so it fits close to the ceiling. That suits it to a kitchen, dining room, living room or larger hallway, and to any low room where a pendant would hang too far down.
