Description
The Galoba is a three-head spotlight bar that takes 3 x max 35W GU10 lamps on a round 530mm plate, putting out three independently angled beams from a single fixing point. As a flush-mounted multi-light ceiling fitting it sits in the same family US buyers know as the flush mount LED ceiling light, here built as a bar of separate adjustable heads rather than one fixed dome. Each PAR16 head pivots, so the light can be aimed where it is wanted, and the lamp choice (warm or cool, beam width, dimmable status) follows whichever GU10 you fit.
The three steerable heads make the Galoba a good fit for kitchens, hallways and home offices where light needs directing onto specific zones such as a worktop, a doorway run or a desk. Mounting on either ceiling or wall, it suits standard room heights and works well over a galley kitchen or along a corridor where one central point can cover a length of space. Coverage depends on the GU10 lamps chosen and how the heads are aimed, so it is best thought of as three pools of directed light rather than one even wash across a room.
Built from aluminium alloy with a white finish, the 530 x 90 x 150 mm bar weighs 1.15 kg and runs on 220-240V AC mains. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any damp or outdoor position. Each head holds a GU10 lamp on a standard cap, which keeps lamps user-replaceable, and dimming depends entirely on the GU10 lamps and switch fitted. The Galoba sits within the wider Galoba range of GU10 spotlight fittings.

Frequently Asked
How many lamps does the Galoba take and what type?
It holds three GU10 lamps, each rated up to 35W, on PAR16-style heads. Because the lamps are not integrated you can choose the colour temperature, beam angle and brightness yourself, and replace any single lamp without changing the fitting.
Can the spotlight heads be adjusted?
Yes, all three heads pivot independently so each beam can be aimed at a different spot. This makes it useful over a worktop, along a hallway or across a home office where light needs directing rather than spread evenly.
Is the Galoba dimmable?
Dimming is determined by the GU10 lamps and the switch you install rather than the fitting itself. Fit dimmable GU10 lamps on a compatible dimmer switch and the three heads will dim together.
How should the fitting be cleaned?
Switch off and let the lamps cool, then wipe the aluminium bar and heads with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Avoid solvents and do not let moisture reach the lamp contacts, as the IP20 rating means it is for dry indoor use only.
