Description

The Galoba is a square multi-spot ceiling light carrying four GU10 lamp positions, each taking a lamp of up to 35W and running directly from a 220-240V AC supply. As an LED ceiling light it groups four directional PAR16 spots within a single 240 x 240 mm plate, so the output can be aimed where it is wanted rather than spread evenly. Buyers in the US will recognise this multi-head plate as a flush mount ceiling light format, fixing close to the surface with the lamp heads angled below.

The four directional heads make the Galoba a good fit for kitchens, hallways and home offices where light needs steering onto worktops, a run of cabinets or a desk. With independently aimable spots it works well over a small to medium room, letting one fitting cover a seating zone and a task area at once. The round PAR16 lamps and shallow 125 mm projection suit standard and lower ceilings, and the fitting is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any damp or outdoor position.

Built from aluminium alloy in a black finish, the Galoba measures 240 x 240 x 125 mm and weighs 1.41 kg. The plate fixes to wall or ceiling and the integrated lamp holders need no separate driver, drawing straight from mains voltage. Dimming depends on the GU10 lamps fitted.

Switch off and let the lamps cool, then wipe the black aluminium plate and lamp heads with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners so the finish is not marked.
