Description

The Galoba is a round-form ceiling light built around four GU10 lamp positions, each taking a PAR16 lamp up to 35W. It runs on a standard 220 to 240V AC supply and casts four directional pools of light rather than one broad wash, which gives a brighter, more layered feel across a room. North American buyers will know this format as a flush mount ceiling light, sitting close to the surface on a compact 240 by 240mm body.

Are the lamps dimmable?

Dimming is determined by the GU10 PAR16 lamps you fit rather than the fitting itself. If you choose dimmable GU10 lamps and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer, the light will dim. Standard non-dimmable lamps will not.

Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. The Galoba is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only. Keep it clear of bathrooms, shower zones, porches and any damp or outdoor location, and fit it in living rooms, bedrooms or hallways instead.

How do I clean it?

Switch off and let the lamps cool, then wipe the white aluminium body with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners that could mark the finish. Make sure it is fully dry before switching back on.
