Description
The Galaxy is a cluster pendant that drops three rounded acrylic shades from a single nickel-black ceiling plate, each on its own black cable at a different length. The light comes from an integrated LED in each shade, read through opal and clear acrylic with a brushed metal insert at the centre, so it gives a soft, warm spread while the nickel, brass and copper inserts catch the eye. Unlit, the three staggered globes read as a grouped set of clear and frosted forms.
Each shade is 250mm across, and the drops adjust from 250mm up to 2310mm, so you can set the three at staggered heights over a dining table or island, or step them down a stairwell. Together the three LEDs give 2800 lumens of warm 3000K light from 29W total, enough to light a table or a seating area without a harsh central beam.
The ceiling plate is metal in a shiny nickel-black finish with black PVC cables, and the shades are opal and clear acrylic with brushed metal inserts in nickel, brass and copper, rated IP20 for indoor rooms. The LEDs are built in and rated for around 20,000 hours, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. It is supplied ready to wire in.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Galaxy give?
A soft, warm spread at 3000K from three integrated LEDs, read through opal and clear acrylic. Together they give 2800 lumens, enough to light a table or seating area evenly, while the brushed metal inserts add a point of interest rather than a harsh central beam.
Does it need bulbs?
No. The Galaxy uses an integrated LED in each of the three shades, 29W in total, so the light source is built in and included. There are no separate bulbs to buy, and the LEDs are rated for around 20,000 hours.
Can it be dimmed?
No, the Galaxy is a non-dimmable on/off fitting as supplied, so it cannot be dimmed from a standard wall dimmer.
How big is it and where does it suit?
Each shade is 250mm across and the three cables drop from 250mm to 2310mm, so you can stagger them over a dining table or kitchen island, or step them down a stairwell or double-height hallway.
