The Galaxy is a 500mm linear bar pendant with three cylindrical crystal columns suspended on fine cables from a polished chrome canopy. Each column contains an integrated LED module behind precision-cut crystal elements, emitting 6000K cool white light at 846 lumens combined. The crystal cuts refract the LED light into multiple directions, creating sparkle across the column faces and casting reflections onto nearby surfaces.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars and dining tables in contemporary interiors, the Galaxy works in spaces that favour cooler light temperatures and clean metallic finishes. The 500mm canopy length allows the three pendants to spread light evenly along a 1200-1500mm worktop or table. The 1200mm drop height is adjustable on installation by shortening the suspension cables, so the pendants can be positioned 700-900mm above the surface depending on ceiling height and use.

The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with stainless appliances, cooler-toned cabinetry and contemporary greys. The crystal columns are cut glass rather than acrylic, giving sharper refraction and heavier weight (2kg total) than polymer alternatives. The 9W integrated LED provides 846 lumens output at 6000K, equivalent to approximately 60W of halogen light but at a fraction of the running cost. The LED is non-dimmable and rated for 20,000+ hours typical lifespan.

Is the Galaxy dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is rated at 9W fixed output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. If dimming is required, consider an alternative pendant with separate dimmable E27 or GU10 bulbs.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 1200mm drop is adjustable on installation by shortening the suspension cables. For a kitchen island or dining table the pendants typically hang 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

What is the colour temperature and how does it compare to warm white?

The Galaxy emits 6000K daylight white, which is a cool-toned light closer to natural daylight. This is cooler than the typical 2700K-3000K warm white used in most domestic settings. 6000K suits task lighting in kitchens and modern interiors where crisp visibility is preferred over ambient warmth.

How is the crystal cleaned?

The cut crystal columns can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metalwork or allowing water to enter the LED module housings at the top of each column.
