Description

The Knightsbridge G9 track spotlight is a white die-cast aluminium spotlight with an opal glass diffuser, designed to fit single-circuit track systems. The spotlight head measures 60mm diameter by 82mm length and projects 164mm from the track when fitted, housing a single G9 lamp base rated for bulbs up to 40W (bulb sold separately). The plastic track connector clips onto standard single-circuit track rails.

The spotlight head rotates 350° horizontally and tilts 80° vertically, allowing light to be directed at artwork, retail displays, kitchen worktops or reading positions without repositioning the track itself. The opal glass diffuser softens the light output and reduces direct glare from the bulb, making the fitting suitable for general room lighting as well as accent lighting. Dimming capability depends on the G9 bulb chosen — pairing with a dimmable LED G9 bulb allows variable output control.

The white powder-coated finish on the aluminium body provides a neutral appearance that blends with white and light-coloured ceilings in residential kitchens, home offices, retail environments and gallery spaces. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations. The compact 60mm diameter head keeps the fitting visually discreet when mounted on track, while the die-cast aluminium construction provides heat dissipation for halogen or LED G9 bulbs up to the 40W maximum.

Dimming depends on the G9 bulb you fit. If you install a dimmable G9 LED bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch on the track circuit, the spotlight will dim. Non-dimmable bulbs will not respond to dimmer controls.

What track system does it fit?

The plastic track connector is designed for standard single-circuit track systems. Confirm your existing track type before ordering — this spotlight is not compatible with multi-circuit or proprietary track rails.
