Description

The Fruitera is a glass pendant light with an apple-shaped shade in gold-coloured vaporised glass, hung on a slim black cord from a round brushed brass ceiling canopy. A cylindrical brushed brass neck holds the shade, and a vertical tube of integrated LED light runs through its centre, so the glass glows from the middle. The shade is 25cm across and the whole light is 150cm high overall. With an IP20 rating it is made for indoor rooms that stay dry, so it belongs in a living room, dining room or bedroom rather than a bathroom.

Hang one over a dining table, a sideboard or a reading chair and the tinted glass gives a warm golden sheen even when the LED is dark. Because the LED is integrated, there is no bulb to buy or change, and it gives a generous 1,000lm from just 6W. The colour temperature spans 2200 to 6500K, from a candle-warm glow for evenings to a crisp daylight white for reading or work, and the light is dimmable. That means one pendant can suit dinner, homework and a quiet drink at the end of the day.

The body is steel in a brushed brass finish, and the switch is a touchless sensor, so the light responds without anyone touching the fitting. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains power, carries energy class F and weighs 2.248KG packed.
