Freida Organza Wall Light Lampshade - White, 35 x 16cm

The Freida is a 35cm white organza wall lampshade with cascading crystal detailing designed for use with Diyas wall light frames. The shade consists of a gathered organza cylinder stretched over a metal frame, with strands of round-cut crystal beads hanging beneath the fabric rim, each strand terminating in a slim hexagonal crystal drop.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways where soft ambient wall light is needed, the Freida fits Diyas wall light bases that accept E14 bulbs up to 40W. The translucent organza diffuses light evenly across the fabric surface, while the crystal strands catch and scatter light from the bulb behind the shade, creating movement and sparkle on surrounding walls when lit.

The shade measures 350mm width, 160mm height and projects 200mm from the wall when fitted to a compatible wall bracket. The white organza pairs with polished chrome, brushed nickel and white-painted wall frames, and the neutral tone works across both contemporary and classical interiors. At 0.27kg the shade is light enough to be supported on most Diyas wall bracket frames without additional reinforcement.

Is this a complete wall light or just the shade?

This is the shade only. It requires a separate Diyas wall light frame with an E14 bulb fitting. The shade clips or fixes onto compatible Diyas wall brackets designed to accept this size of organza shade.

What bulb wattage is recommended?

The shade is rated for E14 bulbs up to 40W. Most users pair it with a 4-6W LED candle bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for soft ambient light without overheating the organza fabric.

Can the crystal drops be removed?

The crystal strands are attached to the lower rim of the shade frame. They can be removed if preferred, though doing so will leave the shade as a plain organza cylinder without the cascading detail.

How is the organza cleaned?

Dust the organza gently with a soft brush or low-power vacuum attachment. For marks, spot-clean with a barely-damp microfibre cloth and distilled water, avoiding soaking the fabric. The crystal beads can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried immediately to prevent water spots.
