Description

The Freida is a grey organza wall lampshade measuring 35cm wide by 16cm high, designed to clip onto E14 wall light fittings. The shade wraps a wire frame in fine grey organza fabric that diffuses light softly, with internal strings of clear crystal beads and hexagonal crystal drops suspended inside the shade to add refraction and depth when the bulb is lit.

Designed for wall lights in hallways, bedrooms and living rooms where ambient rather than task lighting is needed, the shade fits sconces with an E14 lamp holder and accepts bulbs up to 40W (LED or halogen, sold separately). The 200mm projection from the wall allows the shade to sit clear of the sconce arm while the crystal strings inside catch and scatter light across the organza, creating textured illumination on the wall behind.

The grey organza provides a cooler, neutral tone that pairs well with chrome, brushed steel and polished nickel wall fittings. The translucent fabric softens the direct glare from the bulb while the crystal beads inside the shade add visual interest when the light is on and a subtle decorative detail when switched off. At 0.27kg the shade is light enough to clip onto most standard E14 wall sconces without overloading the fitting.

Can the crystal beads be removed?

How is the organza cleaned?
