Description

The Freida is a 30cm diameter organza table lampshade in cream, built around a wire frame draped with fine pleated organza fabric. Inside the shade, suspended strands of crystal beads and hexagonal drops catch and refract light from the bulb, adding sparkle without overwhelming the soft diffusion of the outer fabric. The shade is designed to fit standard table lamp bases with E27 or B22 lamp holders, supporting bulbs up to 40W.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and side tables in living rooms and bedrooms, the Freida adds texture and controlled light distribution to spaces where direct bulb glare would be too harsh. The 19cm height suits lamps between 35-50cm tall, where the shade sits proportionally to the base. The cream organza filters warm-white light into ambient glow, making it suitable for evening reading or low-level background lighting.

The organza is pleated in vertical sections around the frame, giving the shade a ribbed texture when viewed from the side. The internal crystals are visible when the lamp is switched on, but appear as faint lines when off, keeping the shade visually quiet during daylight.
