Description

The Freida is a 550mm tall crystal table lamp built on a polished chrome central column, with three E14 bulb positions inside a 300mm diameter white organza shade. Strands of faceted crystal beads cascade from the shade rim in layered loops, terminating in larger hexagonal crystal drops that catch and scatter light when the lamp is switched on.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and dressers where both task and ambient light are needed, the Freida provides soft diffused illumination through the organza shade while the crystal droplets add decorative sparkle. The 550mm height places the shade at a comfortable reading height when positioned next to a bed or armchair. The white shade offers a neutral backdrop that pairs with both warm and cool colour schemes, while the polished chrome finish sits comfortably in contemporary, transitional and classical interiors.

Each of the three E14 sockets accepts candle bulbs up to 40W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or traditional filament bulbs depending on the desired light output and colour temperature. The lamp is dimmable when paired with suitable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing light levels to be adjusted from bright task lighting to low ambient mood lighting. The 3.8kg weight gives the lamp stability on typical bedside and console surfaces without needing to be secured.

What bulbs does the Freida take?

The lamp takes three E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedroom or lounge lighting.

Is the Freida dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable bulbs and install a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. The lamp itself does not have an integrated dimmer control, so dimming is controlled at the wall switch or plug point.

How is the organza shade cleaned?

The white organza shade can be dusted gently with a soft brush or dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, the shade can be removed from the frame and spot-cleaned with a barely-damp cloth and mild detergent, then air-dried fully before refitting. Do not machine-wash or submerge the shade.

Are other shade colours available in this range?
