Description
The Fox is a slim cylindrical spotlight that clips onto a single-phase LINK track and aims a defined pool of light where you point it. The barrel tilts and turns on its adaptor, so you can slide it along the run and lock the beam onto a picture, a shelf or a stretch of wall. Lit, it reads as a clean directed circle of warm 3000K light; unlit, the narrow black tube sits low and quiet on the rail.
This is the 15W head, drawing 1600 lumens through a fairly tight 39 degree beam, with a colour rendering index above 90 so artwork, wood and fabric keep their true tone under the light. The matt black barrel measures 81mm across and stands 175mm on the track, its dark finish letting the fitting recede so the eye follows the beam rather than the body. The narrow spread makes it a tidy way to pick out one object or wash a mid-height wall without spilling light across the room.
The source is a built-in LED rated to 50,000 hours, so there is no bulb to fit or replace, and it runs at a fixed output on a plain on-off switch straight from the track circuit. It carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor rooms. It needs a live single-phase LINK track to seat on, which we can supply alongside with the feeds and end pieces.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Fox spotlight give?
One aimed beam of warm 3000K light with a colour rendering index above 90, so colours stay true. This head runs a fairly tight 39 degree spread and draws 1600 lumens at 15W, picking out a single object or washing a mid-height wall. The barrel tilts and turns to point the beam.
Does it use a bulb?
No. The LED is built in and included, rated to 50,000 hours, so there is nothing to source or replace. The head clips onto a single-phase LINK track and lights from the rail once seated.
Can it be dimmed?
No. This is the on-off head, switched from the circuit feeding the track, running at a fixed 3000K output. We are happy to advise on switching and track layout before you order.
What does it need to run and where does it suit?
A live single-phase LINK track rather than a plain ceiling point. At 81mm across and 175mm tall, the narrow 39 degree beam suits shops, galleries, studios and halls that want aimable accent light on a plain switch. Rated IP20, it is for dry indoor rooms.
