Description

The Forleyet is a shallow oval decorative bowl in aluminium with an antique nickel finish. The surface carries a fine, speckled texture, darker flecks set against a soft pewter-grey sheen, and the rim rises only slightly before finishing in a brighter, gently uneven edge. It measures 36cm long and 32cm wide, and at just 1cm high it sits closer to a tray than a deep bowl, so whatever you set on it stays on show rather than hidden away.

We see it working best as an indoor centrepiece: on a dining table between meals, on a coffee table beside a stack of books, or on a hallway console where keys and post land at the end of the day. On a dressing table it gathers rings, watches and bracelets in one place. Because it is not for food use, it is one for keepsakes, ornaments and pebbles rather than fruit or bread.
