Description

The Focus S is a single-phase track spotlight built from black and gold aluminium with a cylindrical 52mm diameter head housing a single GU10 bulb (sold separately, up to 10W). The spotlight mounts to standard single-phase track via a flat adapter that sits flush with the track profile, and rotates 360° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically on its pivot joint.

Designed for retail accent lighting, gallery wall-washing, and residential task lighting over kitchen worktops or study desks, the Focus S directs a narrow beam where it's needed without the fixed installation of a ceiling downlight. The recessed lamp position reduces glare when viewed from typical standing or seated positions, making the spotlight suitable for rooms where the track is visible and the light source needs to remain comfortable to the eye.

The black body with gold inner reflector and gold front bezel gives the spotlight a warm metallic accent under daylight and pairs well with contemporary, mid-century and industrial interiors that already use brass, gold or warm metal tones. The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight at approximately 200g per spotlight, allowing multiple units to be installed on a single track run without overloading the track's weight capacity. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only.

What track system does this spotlight fit?

The Focus S is designed for single-phase track systems. It uses a flat adapter that clips into standard single-phase track profiles. It will not fit three-phase or two-circuit track without an additional adapter.

What bulb does it take?

The spotlight takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 10W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a GU10 LED in either warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient accent lighting or cool white (4000K) for task lighting in kitchens and offices.

Can the spotlight be angled after installation?

Yes. The head rotates 360° around the track axis and tilts 90° vertically, allowing the beam to be directed to walls, artwork, worktops or display shelving. The adjustment is done by hand and holds position through friction at the pivot joint.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating means the spotlight is only suitable for dry indoor environments. It is not rated for bathroom zones or any area subject to moisture or splashing.
